The New York Yankees now have center fielder-first baseman, Nick Swisher, from the Chicago White Sox. In exchange for him, the Yankees traded infielder, Wilson Betemit and two minor league pitchers, Jeff Marquez and Jhonny Nunez.
I heard that Nick Swisher's contract is supposedly going to include an option in 2012 for $10.25 million with a $1 million buyout. That's crazy!
Plenty of blogs I've read have numerous posts where people are saying how much they hate Swisher. It seems what may have been a good trade for the Yankees is not necessarily a good trade for the fans.
